Free Robotics Day Camps
Friday February 8 is for First Nations students only (mixed boys and girls).
Friday March 1 is for Girls only.
BIG Little Science Centre is providing two days of FREE Robotics fun at BIG Little Science Centre this winter. These day camps are FREE, with lunch and snack included, and are for up to 16 students each camp. They will be held at BIG Little Science Centre. Time to sign up is NOW. Robotics Campers use the LEGO Mindstorms NXT system. Each participant will have their own kit and computer to use over the course of the day. Beginners and those with experience are all encouraged to attend. Along with designing, building, and programming the robots, children will have a chance to solve some challenges. In doing so they will learn some cool tricks to make the robots do what they really want them to do. Registration is on a first come - first served basis, so we encourage families and children to sign up now. Children need to be in grade 5 and up to qualify.
