2024 Invitational Science Day Camps
BIG Little Science Centre has obtained a grant to allow us to create some amazing FREE Invitational Science Day Camps. Each day will provide many different hands-on activities and themed experiments, time in the hands-on Exploration Room, surprises, and laughter.
Science loving grade 5, 6 and 7 students are invited to participate in these unique day camps (one camp per child, unless space is available for children to do both). Camps will be held at BIG Little Science Centre, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
These limited spaces fill up very quickly. Deadline for registration for February 2 is Friday January 26
Friday, February 2 is all about Shocking Electricity with MicroBits and MORE. Registration
Monday, April 22 we get messy with Mad Scientists, Explosions and MORE, Chemistry Day. Registration
Friday, May 17 we will have a third camp with a special outdoor environmental themed camp for Indigenous, Metis and Inuit Learners only, with details to be released soon.
Snacks and lunch are provided for free as well. On camp day, students are asked to bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes and arrive at 458 Seymour Street (BIG Little Science Centre) between 8:40 and 9:00 am.
